Crépuscule II
French word for twilight, Crépuscule II is the second illustration of my personal project where I wanted to explore atmosphere, mood, through minimalist use of color, silhouette and contrast. In this second illustration, I wanted the character to be backlit by a giant neon sign representing the mandarin ideogram for Twilight. The female character and background were mostly done in Procreate while the neon sign and industrial elements were created in Illustrator and photoshop.
