A country to fall in love with
My second trip to Japan, travelling from Tokyo, to the south Island of Yakushima where I encountered the spirits of Mononoke forest and its 3000 year old cedar trees. A night on the beaches of Yakushima to see sea turtles nest their eggs one by one. I made a few stops on my way, shooting in Osaka, Fukuoka, Koyasan where I slept in a buddhist temple and meditated to the sound of silence. A night stop at Kagoshima and its active volcano, and finally Yakushima.
