John Lewis.
John Lewis was an American politician and civil rights leader. I wanted to create an illustration portraying him as we all knew him. Strong, Dedicated, never giving in, never giving up. The illustration takes us on John Lewis’ journey from the bridge in Selma to the Congress. An older John Lewis is holding a child’s hand, on the bridge, paving the way to equality and freedom for the future generations. He will be missed.
